Meet the Author
The Reverend Dr Steven Shakespeare (Ph.D., University of Cambridge) is the Anglican Chaplain at Liverpool Hope University, part of an ecumenical Chaplaincy team. He is also Associate Director of the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Ecclesiology, based at Hope. Steven is the author of Kierkegaard, Language and the Reality of God (Ashgate, 2001) and co-author with Hugh Rayment-Pickard of The Inclusive God. Reclaiming Theology for an Inclusive Church (Canterbury, 2006). and Derrida and Theology. He has also written a number of journal papers and book chapters on subjects related to Kierkegaard, Derrida, Radical Orthodoxy and philosophy. He is currently completing a book-length critical guide to Radical Orthodoxy for SPCK.
