I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can't wait to read the next books in the series. Elsie is very well behaved, she loves God a lot and is very understanding

Loved It
4 stars By Emily, Mar 25 2016
This is the first book in the Elsie Dinsmore collection. Elsie is an 8 year old girl. Her mother died when she was a baby and she has never seen her father before. When she meets him she realises that he doesn't love her and she is heartbroken. As Elsie leans on her Heavenly Father for comfort she learns that God's love is better than man's love. Though she goes through many trials her Gid is always with her. This book is great for girls aged 10-14. I couldn't put it down.

Great read
4 stars By Sarah, Jan 29 2015
After four of my friends recommended the Elsie Dinsmore series to me on different occasions, I knew that I had to check it out. I am glad that I did! I recommend it to you too.
I found this book thoroughly entertaining whilst involving God throughout the story. As well as this, the book contains great literature, as it was written in the late 19th Century.
Although the barcode read "8 to 12 years" I think that older readers will really enjoy it as well.
It's definitely a great read and the rest of the series are at the top of my list!
