Great book
4 stars By Eva age 11, Aug 07 2018
l love this book because it shows Elsie's love for her heavenly father and
how much she sacrifices for him and gains from him. Elsie's father becomes sick
and she nurses him back to health. But soon a new problem comes between
them and Mr Dinsmore goes on a trip away from home.
I would recommend this book for girls aged 8-14.

A Tearjerker
4 stars By Emily, May 28 2016
"Elsie's Widowhood" is the seventh book in the Elsie Dinsmore collection. Elsie and her family are living happily at home when a tragic thing happens that changes their lives forever. Elsie I'd devastated, but will she push through her pain to do the things that need to be done? This book is a great reminder to me of how we should not cling to earthly treasures, but heavenly ones. Great for girls aged 10-16. I stayed up really late reading this book. Beware - you may have tears running down your face.
