I would put 0 star if I was allowed. I rarely give negative feedback, but this book, I really cannot recommend. It made me angry that the author implied that babies who are born with or have a disability or a disease are not part of God's plan and she stated that we shouldn't accept to have them because we shouldn't 'settle for anything less' than a healthy baby. How insulting towards God, parents of these babies and the babies themselves. In my opinion all babies born are part of God's plan and they would not be made if God didn't allow it. As Christians we should be obedient to God's will and plan whether that means to love and raise children with challenges no matter how hard it would be. We want encouraging comments in devotion preparing us for challenges as a parent, not selfish comments assuming your baby will be all healthy and that 'anything less is not God's best'. All babies are created and loved by God according to his plan , our job is to accept them and love them for who they are.
