$15.99

Paperback
The Bible is the story of God's promised salvation. Despite our fall into sin and the recurrent rejection of God's rule, God promised to make Abraham into a great nation and bless him. What does this mean? How are we to interpret this promise of salvation? Looking at God's covenantal promises with Abraham, Moses, and David, the author presents the big picture of the Bible and helps Christians understand the parts in relation to the whole. Supplemented with diagrams and timelines, this accessible Bible overview unlocks the promise of salvation, and encourages effective, active Christian living in today's world.

From Creation to New Creation traces different elements of the promise and introduces:

** A people: God's promise to save a people who will be His people
** A land: God's promise to provide a place of blessing
** A king: God's promise to re-establish his rule of freedom and peace.

** The nations: God's promise to bring salvation to all peoples

- Publisher 160 Pages

- Publisher Tim Chester is part of a church planting team in Sheffield. He was formerly the Research and Policy Director of Tearfund. He is visiting lecturer in Christian Community Development at Redcliffe College, and editor of Justice, Mercy and Humility.
