Go Tell My Brothers: Christian Women and Christian Worship

$13.99

Paperback

It is commonly held that the apostle Paul ruled against women speaking publicly in church worship. The author, a Christian lawyer, here sizes up the traditional arguments for this position against the biblical material pertinent to the question, starting with the accounts of the first witnesses of the risen Christ. His conclusion, a challenge to rethink widely-held views, seeks to do justice to Christ's status as sole head of his worshipping people. In addition, Go Tell My Brothers deals with relevant aspects of church leadership, Christian freedom, headship, head-coverings, and spiritual qualifications for worship.
