Good overview of the whole Bible
4 stars By Nicole, Apr 21 2018
This is a readable and clear summary of God's planstory in history, summarising how all books of the Bible fit together in terms of kingdom themes. The book is filled with useful diagrams and bible study questions at the end of each chapter. Roberts does a great job at telling a story that we can understand and effectively teach to others. This is great for anyone who gets lost amongst the books in the Bible or finds the old testament confusing and somewhat unrelated to Jesus.

Excellent Overview of the Bible's Story
5 stars By Ben, Jul 17 2017
Reading the Bible can be confusing, even if you've been a Christian for a long time. Often it's hard to know how the individual stories and books fit together, and it can seem quite disconnected. Having a grasp on how the whole Bible hangs together and points towards Jesus is absolutely revolutionary in one's reading of the Bible, and this book by Vaughan Roberts is the best introduction to this topic that I've found. Very well-written, extremely clear. A must-read for every Christian (and I don't say that about many books at all).

Must-read for anyone wanting to understand the Bible
5 stars By Hoa, May 19 2016
In this short volume, Roberts succinctly and engagingly takes the reader through the grand storyline of the whole Bible. God's Big Picture isn't a book-by-book explanation of the Bible, but focuses on how the entire Bible, Old and New Testament, tell one coherent story about Christ. Short, engaging, this is the ideal book for anyone who wants to understand the Bible as more than a collection of nice or interesting stories. Read it, and recommend it to your friends.

Absolute must read!
5 stars By Matt, May 17 2016
I cannot recommend this book enough for any and every christian. It so clearly lays out story of the bible from beginning to end and offers a framework for all biblical exploration. This book took my understanding of scripture to another level, yet was so simple and easy to understand. A great starting point for anybody studying the bible and a must read for anyone serious about Jesus. This book will help you to understand the place of the old testament in the bible and give you the tools you need to understand any passage of scripture.

Absolutely must read!

Basic and concise biblical theology
5 stars By Aaron, May 17 2016
This book gives a great excellent overview of the whole Bible. It uses a clear framework that divides yet also clearly unifies the unfolding story of the Bible. A recommended read for non-believers, new-believers and mature believers.
