God's Double Agent

Bob Fu
Tens of millions of Christians live in China today, many of them leading double lives or in hiding from a government that relentlessly persecutes them. Bob Fu, whom the Wall Street Journal called "The pastor of China's underground railroad," is fighting to protect his fellow believers from persecution, imprisonment, and even death. God's Double Agent is his fascinating and riveting story.

Bob Fu is indeed God's double agent. By day Fu worked as a full-time lecturer in a communist school; by night he pastored a house church and led an underground Bible school. This can't-put-it-down book chronicles Fu's conversion to Christianity, his arrest and imprisonment for starting an illegal house church, his harrowing escape, and his subsequent rise to prominence in the United States as an advocate for his brethren. God's Double Agent will inspire readers even as it challenges them to boldly proclaim and live out their faith in a world that is at times indifferent, and at other times murderously hostile, to those who spread the gospel.

Excellent reading
5 stars By Janet, Sep 01 2018
I think Bob Fu's book "God's Double Agent" is so interesting and really gives an "eye opening" insight into life in China. I had absolutely no idea of what was happening in that country until I read Bob's book - even though I have actually visited China ............ as a tourist. I really admire Bob for his courage and the way he has helped SO MANY PEOPLE escape persecution -. often risking his own life. And the way he continues to do so........

Uncovering China's iron fist
4 stars By Rory, Feb 15 2017
This is a well written account of some of the things God is doing in China, and some of the lives he's been touching. It makes you realise the impact we can have as westerners looking into other countries and calling for justice and peace which we so often take for granted in our own countries. I felt that the book lost pace 23 the way through but was still encouraging until the end.

Eye opening
4 stars By Harsh, Oct 21 2015
It's incredible that persecution is still happening today. But even greater that there are men of faith who are willing to do something about it. Reading about his faith journey and how God was able to use him in China, made me pray and ask God where He wanted me to serve Him.
I would recommend this book to anyone who was doubting that persecution is still happening today
