Very Inspiring
4 stars By Colleen, Apr 21 2008
I can highly recommend "Grief and Grace" to anyone who is suffering the loss of losing someone precious and dear, especially the death of a baby. Amanda tells it how it is. It is a personal account of her grief journey and I admire her truthfulness and honesty. I love the way the book has been written referring to Ecclesiastes - There is a Time etc..... What a wonderful gift little Grace was to her brothers and sisters. Through the experience of her death, her siblings learnt so much about life, and now, Amanda, with her brilliant writing, has taught us about the rawness and pain of grief and loss. In her book, Amanda shows us how grief impacts thoughts, feelings and behaviours which in turn effects wellness. This book also teaches the reader how to avoid the unhelpful clich?s when responding to one who is grieving. This book touched my soul. It is a must read to anyone who has experienced the loss of a baby.
