Beautifully Captivating
5 stars By Jo Sarah, Jun 26 2017
This is a book that you can read over and over again.
It tells the Biblical story of Esther from her own point of view, and albeit a fictionalised version, it offers a great insight to the colours, sights, sounds and feelings that the real Esther went through. It brings the Bible story to life.
The language style is easy to read, but draws you in: captivating you with the splendor of the palace, bating your breath with the terror of the enemies and teasing you with the romance between Esther and the King.
It also portrays a beautiful sense of God's providence and love towards all those who trust him.
You won't be disappointed.

Fictional Story of Queen Esther
5 stars By Esta- Mt Lawley, Jul 18 2009
Ever wondered about the events surrounding the Old Testament's most
popular queen? Tommy Tenney retells the story of Queen Esther in a new light from the point of view of a young Jewish girl. I especially enjoyed the author's idea of what 'one night with the king' entailed (somewhat different from what I was led to believe). The story also shows us just how dnagerous the climate at the time was, and how incredibly brave this young Jewish girl was. All in all it's a great book and a worthwhile read.
