I love the real emotion in this book. I remember what it felt like to be 14 year old girl - all the huge emotions you can be feeling. I remember wondering if anyone understands how this feels and being too embarrassed to talk about it. As an adult now, I want all my young brave heart friends to know that talking about your problems will probably make them much easier. So I want to give this book to all the teenage girls I know. It reminds me to really stop and listen to my young brave heart friends because they ARE valuable and worth it, so I want to give it to all my adult friends. Also, I stayed up all night reading this book because it is just so well written. I just HAD to know what would happen next and how Jazmine was going, I was cheering her on and eagerly waiting to see what she would grow into (and I wasn't disappointed!).
