:

Josiah's Fire is an amazing true story of family, hope, and hearing God's voice through a speechless boy.

Joe and Tahni Cullen were thrust into a nightmare when their two-year-old son, Josiah, a typical toddler, suddenly lost his ability to speak, play, and socialize. The diagnosis was Autism Spectrum Disorder. Tahni felt like she had been handed a prison sentence. How could a good God have allowed this to happen, and how can Tahni find hope for their future?

In their attempts to see Josiah recover and regain speech, the Cullens underwent huge physical, emotional, and financial struggles. While other kids around him improved, Josiah only got worse.

Five years later, Josiah, who had not been formally taught to read or write, suddenly began to typeon his iPad profound sentences about God, science, history, business, music, strangers, and his heavenly encounters. Josiah's ongoing visions, revelations, and heavenly visits forced his family out of their comfort zone, predictable theology, and stagnant relationship with God, catapulting them into a mind-blowing adventure with Jesus.

Josiah's contagious love for God and the Bible, along with his eye-opening visions of biblical proportions, unveil God's glory and majesty and incite a fresh outpouring of joy and hope.

Follow a trail of truth into Josiah's mysterious world, and see why his family and friends can no longer stay silent.

Fascinating but too long.
3 stars By LizC, Jan 11 2018
The first half of the book is very fascinating, encouraging and eye-opening. It follows the story of a couple who have a young son with autism. It is written from the mother's perspective. If the book finished halfway through I would give it a 4. The second half includes many of the boys 'words' which often don't make sense. It would be a concern if people took his words as 'gospel.' With that aside, the book is a reminder that God can use ALL people and each one of us has a purpose.

Encouraging and perspective changing
4 stars By Fiona E Brown, Dec 04 2017
God's perspective runs counter-cultural to contemporary life. In His upside-down kingdom God has chosen this non-verbal autistic boy to speak His words to bless others. Josiah's story is so remarkable that; were his insights not so profound, some might be tempted to question the integrity of his testimony, Instead it is time to free God from the confines of our God-shaped-boxes and allow Him to seep deeper into the recesses of our lives. God works in mysterious ways and I pray that he will continue to do so through Josiah all his life. A life that; this side of divine healing, continues to present Josiah and his family with the incredibly difficult daily challenges of autism. Josiah's insights about joy, praise, love and being attentive to God's voice were a particular blessing to me. His struggles encourage me to see my own trials from God's perspective. I am sure I will glean more gems by reading the book again. There were a number of times where I did not understand the vocabulary used by Josiah (thus 4 stars not 5), this was particularly in the earlier parts of the book when it was most unfamiliar to me. This is another reason why I will need to read the book a second time. Well worth the read.

Beatiful testimony
5 stars By Racheal, Jul 24 2017
We'd seen an interview with Tahni on Sid Roth and it was so beautiful, we bought the book. It's stunning the way God can work miracles totally beyond our understanding to advance His kingdom. Tahni writes of her journey in Josiah's diagnosis of autism, and how God opened him up to regularly seeing Heaven and hearing His voice. It's very prophetic and inspirational.

God can do anything
5 stars By Fiona, May 25 2017
Never underestimate what you cannot see or comprehend, because God can do a work so deep that no man can fathom! Josiah's fire is exactly that. As you read through the pages, it is undeniable that God is alive and so, so real. Watch this life. God will use Josiah mightily. This book will encourage your heart to continually praise Him for all that He is doing!

Great reading!
5 stars By Cecile, May 20 2017
Tahni Cullen initially takes the reader on a heartbreaking journey with her difficult autistic son Josiah. However, as Josiah's story unfolds, it is synonymous to a stunningly beautiful butterfly released from a cocoon which becomes a joyful and amazing experience giving the reader glimpses of Eternity.
