8 different women of all ages, 8 familiar stories united by a common thread; how to find God in the most testing of circumstances.

Meet, for example, Louise who whilst surfing one weekend was caught in a rip current and carried out to sea.....Or Rosie, who was told that her two-year-old son had autism. Or Karen who, along with her younger sister, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Or Liz who experienced years of unsuccessful IVF treatment before deciding to adopt a boy from overseas. These are stories of women of all ages, facing challenges that many of us encounter in some form or other.

- Publisher Joyful in Hope tells the stories of eight inspirational women who have faced the harsh reality of life and proved the sufficiency of God's power in many different situations.
  • A young mother proves what can be done when she determines to help her autistic son achieve his full potential.
  • A mother works through the meaning of 'unconditional love' when she learns of her son's homosexuality.
  • A wife finds the best ways to help her husband as his brilliant mind begins to give way to dementia

These, and the others in the book, are women who are facing life with courage and faith, sometimes doubting but desperately holding on to God and trusting even when they do not understand what is happening. These women reassure us that we are not alone in our situation - that God reaches out to us in our struggles and that he can bring us through.
