Boring from start to finish
1 stars By Amy Darragh, Jun 13 2017
I purchased this book for my own personal Bible study. I found I lacked interest in using the tool and I learnt very little from completing the studies. I had to drag myself to finish the seven sessions. I am a new Christian, based on the product description I thought this would be a useful tool for me.

The Bible study doesn't include any introduction page, or who should be using the study or would gain the most from completing the study. The questions that you answer from the Scripture and the self-reflection to be very repetitive. The resource is aiming at people who are thinking about becoming Christians or for those who have just become Christians, working through a Gospel would be a better investment of time for this group of people. I have completed the Christianity Explored handbook and found this to be a sound investment in my Bible knowledge and growth as a Christian.

The biggest problem that this book (tool) faced was that I have just completed "Ideas that Changed the World" participant guide as part of a small group. This tool handled the topics in a far more interesting way and provided more additional reading material, more Bible readings. Our group hardly used the video that accompanied the series, meaning that the addition of the visual media hasn't impacted my opinion.

Great for new christians
4 stars By Andrew, Aug 10 2016
I recently used this in a group context for a bunch of new-christians and some people who were exploring. It was a great tool. The strength of it is that it keeps the bible central, and helps people gain confidence in reading it for themselves and understanding it (there are great questions, reflection exercises etc). It covers some great things.
