Karl Barth (1886-1968) was one of the giants of Christian theology. This clear and accessible study introduces Barth to readers with no background in his thought. Mangina masterfully conveys the structure and content of Barth's theology in chapters that parallel the volumes of Barth's magisterial "Church Dogmatics. He also brings Barth's thought into dialogue with other contemporary theologians on key issues to show ways in which Barth's work provides resources for the whole Christian church.
