About "Life Explored (Handbook)"
Life Explored is an exciting new way to share the gospel in today's highly visual culture. Developed by Christianity Explored Ministries, the seven interactive sessions are based on stunning videos shot all over the globe.
Life Explored will help people uncover what they're really living for, and shows that the greatest pleasure in life is not enjoying the gifts God has given, but enjoying God himself. This exciting, new outreach course can be run before or after Christianity Explored or Alpha and is perfect for anyone looking for answers to life's big questions.
This Handbook contains everything a participant needs for the course, guiding them through the sessions with plenty of space for notes.

Life Explored is a Group study series aimed at non-Christians that discusses many of the aspects of God, particularly ones which counter many of the common misconceptions in our modern day society. The full study kit includes not only this participants guide of discussion questions, but a DVD and leaders guide. The handbook is definitely meant to be used alongside the DVD series, and whilst poses good questions, really bounces off the DVD, particularly the second clip of each section which is short talkteaching session. I encourage you to look at buying the entire Life Explored Study Guide Kit. Buying the book alone is great however for everyone in the group to have a copy of the book to use during the study
This is a good study for the accompanying video. It has some good questions that get people thinking through the passage that they've just read. At times it's easy to give short, by-the-passage answers without expanding and exploring what that really means for someone, so that's something that a leader will need to be aware of (i.e. they may need to ask follow-up questions). But on the whole it has a good set of questions, particularly for those not too familiar with their Bible.
