Good feel movie
3 stars By Candid, Sep 25 2017
This two part movie is said to join with the love comes softly series. It does give little hints of a connection, however, I would say that this is a very stand alone movie.

The filming and acting was done well and it has a nice, lay back feel to it and is quite family friendly.

I would say that the draw back to this film is that it is based more on 'St. Nick" (AKA Santa) and his 'miracles' and not really much about God at all.

All said a nice movie.

Lovely Christmas Movie
4 stars By Sarah, Dec 06 2015
This is a lovely Christmas movie which has that beautiful feel that all the Love Comes Softly series succeeds in bringing. Something I really like about it is that is secretly ties in with some of the Love Comes Softly movies, but you don't have to watch the other movies to enjoy this one! It's a lovely movie to watch for Christmas, and I recommend them to my friends! :D

Engaging
4 stars By Gerowyn, Dec 26 2012
I lovely story, very touching it is very good at drawing the audience into the lives of the characters and showing that there is strength in community and family. It also shows how sometimes it takes a strong willed person to inspire and stir others to taking right actions...

Super Movie
3 stars By Jenny, Nov 29 2012
What I love about the Love Comes Softly series is that they are really safe to watch, safe for the whole family. I love the love comes softly series. My whole family enjoyed Love's Christmas Journey Its also great for a girls only night! If you love a story line set in the early American west, you will really enjoy this lovely movie. The movie would've been better to have seen some more parts with God but however it was a great, heart warming, inspiring movie. A awesome movie to watch.

Great Viewing
4 stars By Karen, Oct 24 2012
The thing I love about the Love Comes Softly series is that they are safe to watch, and there is no possibility that they won't be suitable. Given that there aren't too many of those movies around, I have enjoyed the entire Love Comes Softly series. Whilst these type of movies are certainly fairly predictable, the setting, backdrops and the costumes are always great to enjoy, and the storylines follow life in a time where things weren't so complicated or fast-paced. Love's Christmas Journey is a lovely family watch, or would be great for a group of women to have a girl's night in! If you enjoy a romantic storyline set in the early American west, and can overlook the odd corny line, you will really enjoy this lovely movie. It would have been nice to have seen a little more attention paid to God in this movie, however, aside from a lack of any real message, it was a great watch.
