Great devotional
5 stars By Sharon, Aug 17 2017
Takes you through the Psalms in a year slowly, with honest and humbling prayers as reflections of the psalm. Great to read through as a daily devotional book and reflect on the things the Psalms teach us.

This has been a wonderful book for me. I use it as a companion to my times with Jesus each day. It invites me to pause and remember who God is, before I launch into prayer. The insights are helpful and have brought the Word alive to me. Such a wonderful book and a lovely gift to give to others.

Great reading
5 stars By Ly, Mar 08 2017
This is a great mediation book that illustrates in detail the book of psalms. My Rock, My Refuge is the perfect title for the book as it recounts the ways that the book of psalms can affect readers through meditating the book of psalms. Keller also provides biblical contexts and meaning in each chapter of the relevant passages in the book. It is an essential read and has been written in a clear, concise and practical manner.

Thoughtful and Helpful
4 stars By Ben Smart, Dec 06 2016
Tim Keller is always insightful in his writings, and this book is no exception. This book contains 365 one-page daily devotionals, working through the Psalms systematically from start to finish. Each devotion has a short Scripture reading (a Psalm or part of it), a brief reflection on the meaning and application of the Psalm, and a short suggested prayer. This book helps you to read the Psalms in a way that engages both your head and your heart. Warmly recommended.
