Meet the Authors

Daniel C Timmer

Dr. Daniel C. Timmer (Ph.D., Trinity Evangelical Divinity School) is Associate Professor of Old Testament at Reformed Theological Seminary. Dr. Timmer taught Biblical Studies at the Facult de thologie rforme Farel in Montreal, Quebec, for five years. He is the author of A Gracious and Compassionate God: Mission, Salvation, and Spirituality in Jonah (New Studies in Biblical Theology -InterVarsity Press, 2011) and Creation, Tabernacle, and Sabbath: The Sabbath Frame of Exodus 31:12-17; 35:1-3 in Exegetical and Theological Perspective (FRLANT 227; Gttingen: Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht, 2009).

Daniel I. Block (D.Phil., School of Archaeology and Oriental Studies, University of Liverpool, Liverpool, England) has been Gunther H. Knoedler Professor of Old Testament at Wheaton College since 2005. His most recent publications are For the Glory of God: A Biblical Theology of Worship and Deuteronomy (NIV Application Commentary).
