Nccs: The Biblical Spirit (A New Covenant Commentary)

William J Dumbrell

$29.99

Paperback

It is apparent from his encounter with Jesus in John 3:1-21 that Nicodemus was unaware that the personal work of the Spirit has always been essential for inclusion within God's covenant.

The Holy Spirit is the life of the Christ in his church, and the means by which God establishes the world church as his new covenant people, as shown by the language miracle at Pentecost.

God has planned something better than rich cultural/religious traditions that have no power to save, namely, membership in the new covenant and the blessing of union with Christ, the life-giving Spirit.
