Thoughtful
4 stars By Claire, Jan 23 2014
This second book in the series by Mary Ellis out performs the first as Emma finds herself in a quandry as she spends more and more time with an 'Englisher'. This book depicts well some of the dilemmas facing the young people growing up in the amish way of life. The central characters faith is encouraging and her focus on God rather than the excesses surrounding her 'Englisher' friend is inspiring. This book is less predictable than the first in the series and well worth a read.
