Mornings can be tough, and sometimes, a hearty breakfast and strong coffee just aren't enough. This devotional offers 365 readings to energise readers with the most potent encouragement imaginable: the gospel! Each reading begins with a tweet-sized, gospel-centred insight, followed by an extended meditation on a key thought for the day.

Endorsements:

"We have always resonated with Robert Robinson's hymn 'Come Thou Fount,' especially the line, 'Prone to wander-Lord, I feel it-prone to leave the God I love.' We feel the pull daily away from God's goodness and toward a pursuit of our own, away from God's gracious acceptance and toward the exhausting, impossible weight of trying to tip the scales in our favor. We are grateful to God that Paul has written this devotional to help, in Robinson's words, seal our hearts for God's courts above. If you're prone to wander, this book is for you."
Matt and Lauren Chandler, Lead Pastor, The Village Church, Dallas, Texas; President, Acts 29 Church Planting Network; and his wife Lauren, writer; speaker; singer

"Each day, these devotions offer a gospel-filled story along with a challenge and application for our daily lives. These passages of Scripture paired with hope-filled messages from Paul are a great way to learn more about the message of the gospel and the man Jesus Christ."
Perry Noble, Senior Pastor, NewSpring Church, Anderson, South Carolina

"Each morning for years, Paul Tripp has served fresh-brewed wisdom and encouragement through his pithy, thought-provoking tweets, reminding us again and again of the all-sufficiency of Christ and his grace. New Morning Mercies offers more of the same (without the limitation of 140 characters)! These devotional readings will strengthen, nourish, and recalibrate your heart, and open your eyes to behold God's fresh mercies at the dawn of each new day."

A Gospel Devotional
5 stars By Katelyn, Jun 29 2017
This is a beautiful book. Paul Tripp has made a book of daily devotionals based on short 'gospel thoughts' (originally 'tweets') which have been explained and expanded upon. Each day has just a short reading, but focuses on an aspect of the gospel, and how it applies to our heart, mind and actions. They are a great reminder for each day, to help you meditate and focus on what is important. Each day also has a corresponding Bible passage for you to read for further study.
I highly recommend this devotional, it is one of the few I have found which finds a healthy balance between being short, succinct, relevant and emotionally captivating, whilst remaining very true to God's Word and remaining gospel focused in all things.

Gospel Centered Devotional
5 stars By Julz, Jul 21 2016
I have been immensely blessed by reading this devotional. It is biblical, full of wisdom, gospel-centered, mind-renewing devotional. It is derived from the tweets of Paul David Tripp, then he goes on to expound the tweets. By far the best devotional I've read so far.
