A Remarkable Australian
5 stars By Joy, May 13 2012
Beginning with the dramatic event of a shooting in Yemen, this autobiography is in many ways an understated account of the life of a surgeon in government and mission hospitals in developing countries.

Ken Clezy is an inventive surgeon and pioneered leprosy work in Papua New Guinea and was still working in Yemen in his seventies.

This account is of a life marked by solid faith unyielding courage and dedication that demonstrates a belief in the inherent worth of each human being.

Born in the Australian bush, Ken Clezy's story reflects a colourful tapestry of life experiences and international contributions. This is a recommended read, whether you are a medical allied health person or not, and inspirational in the sense of the difference one person can make.
