I find Robin Jones Gunn's books to be comforting and familiar. I am quickly swept up into the story line and worlds that she writes about! Katie works through situations including employment, family, friendships and a boyfriend in this book. It is helpful to see how she processes these different areas of life in a godly way... or with her own ideas. This book helped me to consider where I need to rely more fully on God and trust Him - knowing that He is in control and my life is not a whim!
I was recently talking to a mum of teenage girls asking for some advice and wisdom about raising teenage girls to be godly women while maintaining good mumdaughter relationships. Her advice - invest in Robin Jones Gunn's books! I love these books and love the example they set for teenage girls growing up in a world that pulls them in all different directions - can't wait to share them with my girls!
