Excerpt from: Our First 22 Days in Heaven

:Chapter 3: "Michael found himself resting in the light in perfect peace, as though floating down a lazy river. Suddenly he was startled by the sound of a great trumpet and a voice that called him out of the light, "Come up here!" In an instant, he was floating upwards through dirt and soil like a balloon from his grave's resting place. All about him, others were rising from their sites. His eyes glanced around, and he witnessed a great number ascending from the mausoleum, past the confines of the cemetery, and into the sky."

Chapter 4: "Turk and Damien were suddenly beyond the reach of Eden's Gardens in a place called Outer Darkness. Turk held Damien by the back of his garment and forcefully turned him around to demonstrate the complete absence of light. 'Welcome to Hades. You're almost earning the right to be here permanently. Those who rejected the Father's love at the time of His Son's resurrection have made this their home.'
Damien was immediately struck by the bone-chilling bleakness of the dank surroundings. The weight of a thick pall pressed against him as an oppressive shroud. His nostrils were repulsed by a sulfurous stench, as a noxious ashy mist stung his eyes, and brought on a gutteral hacking. Shrieks cut through the blackness putting him on edge. There quickly arose what sounded like a distant rancor of a thousand voices babbling without regard to whether there was a listener. Yellow eyes began appearing throughout the blackened backdrop. A cryptic snake-like voice asked, 'Why are you here Commander of the Host of Heaven? You don't belong. Leave him and go.'"
