Vision of the Eternal
4 stars By Benny, Jun 19 2014
Why is the name for this review 'vision of the eternal'? The spiritual realm is very real, and vivid images of what this transparent world looks like are created in the readers mind. I rate four stars, amazing story and definitely well worth the read. Personally I feel Peretti could have explained more the workings of the Eternal realm, the Christians interaction with it, and given a glimpse into the third Heaven, as I found this novel based primarily in the second. This aside however, I would rate Piercing the Darkness five stars for story line, creativity and vacuum factor (the books ability to suck you in).

An amazing book that I just can't put down. One of Perreti's best. This is the second time I have read it.

If you loved 'This Present Darkness'...
4 stars By Rachel, Sep 07 2012
This book is a sequel to 'This Present Darkness' and is just as riveting! It will again and again remind you of the reality of the co-existent supernatural battle going on around us, and the vitality of our prayer and the fight for God's kingdom.

Sequel to This present darkness
5 stars By Keli, May 22 2009
This is the sequel to my most favourite book by Frank Peretti. Both completely opened up my eyes to the spiritual realms in the form of a novel. It shows what's happening in the natural, but also on both sides of the spiritual world at the same time. Makes you really stop and think about the spiritual realm that surrounds us just beyond our view. A definite must read. Has a slow beginning, but is definitely worth sticking with especially as everything is brought together from the first book, awesome.
