Excellent, helpful
5 stars By Margot , Mar 27 2018
"Empty Nest: What's Next?" by Michelle Howe offers practical insight and support for those of us preparing for, or transitioning through, the empty nest phase. There are thirty 4 - 5-page chapters, each with a scripture reference, a personal anecdote, a brief discussion, a 'take-home-message and a prayer. This means it could be used as a daily devotional, which I did, but it also lends itself to group discussion. Either way, there is sound, biblical wisdom, and Howe is always pointing to God as the ever-present help in time of need, when we seek Him and ask for guidance. Very helpful, positive and hopeful - don't miss this gem if you are facing an empty nest - it would be good in preparation, or if your children have left home.
