Charles Finney

- Publisher "By far the most impressive book on prayer I have ever encountered. There is more depth on a single page than in most complete volumes on the subject." This was the comment of one pastor when he saw this new book. And his enthusiasm is understandable. Charles Finney, widely acknowledged as America's greatest evangelist, was a great man of prayer as well. His ministry rolled like a spiritual shock wave across the American landscape in the nineteenth century. He attributed his effectiveness, in large part, to prayer. He was eminently qualified to write on the subject. And write he did! But until now his comments have, for the most part, been found only among his writings and theology. Now, for the first time, his superb insights on prayer have been compacted into a single volume and cast in a devotional framework. They now can be discovered and put into practice by all who wish to experience the open secrets discovered by Finney himself.

- Publisher Forty daily meditations on how to pray, gleaned from the writings of America's greatest evangelist.
