Meet the Authors

Grenville J R Kent (Ed)

Rev Dr Grenville Kent (Ph.D., University of Manchester) is Lecturer in Old Testament at the Wesley Institute, Sydney, Australia. Grenville has taught Old Testament and Cultural Apologetics (Arts/Theology) at Wesley Institute since 2003. His PhD in Old Testament examines the Witch of En-Dor narrative (1 Samuel 28) using film theory.

Grenville co-authored The Da Vinci Decode www.thedavincidecode.net and is co-editing a forthcoming Inter-Varsity Press book on preaching the Old Testament, titled He began with Moses: Preaching the Old Testament today

Paul J Kissling (Ed)

Paul J. Kissling (Ph.D., University of Sheffield) is Professor of Old Testament and Biblical Languages and Director of Research at the TCMI Institute, Austria.

In 2005 Paul and his wife Cathy began working with TCMI Institute in Heiligenkreuz, Austria and reaching out to the entire former soviet bloc of countries. The Institute has over 700 students from 25 countries.

Paul is the author of Genesis (vols 1 & 2 - College Press NIV Commentary Series); Reliable Characters in the Primary History: Profiles of Moses, Joshua, Elijah and Elisha (Journal for the Study of the Old Testament Supplement), and is co-editing a forthcoming Inter-Varsity Press book on preaching the Old Testament, titled He began with Moses: Preaching the Old Testament today

Laurence A. Turner (Ph.D., University of Sheffield) is Principal Lecturer in Old Testament and Research Degrees Director at Newbold College, Bracknell, UK.

He is the author of Announcements of Plot in Genesis (The Library of Hebrew Bible/Old Testament Studies; Genesis, Second Edition(Readings - A New Biblical Commentary); Back to the Present: Encountering Genesis in the 21st Century and is co-editing a forthcoming Inter-Varsity Press book on preaching the Old Testament, titled He began with Moses: Preaching the Old Testament today

David Wenham (Ed)

David Wenham (PhD., Manchester University) is Vice-Principal of Trinity College, Bristol. He previously taught in India at Union Biblical Seminary, returning in 1979 to Tyndale House in Cambridge where he directed the Gospels Research Project, then as Dean and Vice- Principal of the Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.
