A beautiful children's book
5 stars By Mariquita, Feb 03 2018
This is a story about how the Wemmicks go out of their way to impress their maker, but their efforts to outshine each other ends in disaster. They then realise what the most marvellous gift is, which is their maker (God). I love the message of the story, as it reminds us that we are not meant to impress God at the expense of others.

Beautiful book
5 stars By LJ, Sep 16 2013
Max Lucado is brialliant, as always. This is a delightful story about how the little characters want to give a gift to their maker. Each gift is very individualised and our hero, Punchinello, does a lot of searching to find the most perfect gift. A beautiful story showing children the love of God and emphasising the beauty of uniqueness in each person.
