With two matches under her belt, Lauren’s ready to get back to work. Lucky for her, her job at The Brandon Knox Photography Studio makes it even easier to work her magic on her best friend and boss, Brandon, and the adorable receptionist, Hannah. And since she’s at Shawn’s café every day anyway (a girl’s gotta feed her caffeine and chocolate addictions, doesn’t she?), why not look for his perfect match as well?

But with all her love-connection luck, Lauren’s thrown for a loop when her dad announces that he’s heading out of town for a singles’ retreat. And in the midst of panicking about her dad and potential future stepmom, there's also the matter of Ryan: Love interest or friend? Only time, vats of coffee, and pounds of chocolate will tell!

Meet the Author

Erynn Mangum

Erynn Mangum is a twenty-something single who still lives at home and has no immediate plans to leave, much to the despair of her father. She has been published in Teenage Christian magazine, completed the two-year apprenticeship course given by the Christian Writer's Guild and recently completed the one-year journeyman course. While Miss Match is not strictly autobiographical, let's just say that Erynn can relate to it. It was her first novel. She has now written a sequel Rematch.

Wonderfully perfect! (I would highly, HIGHLY, recommend this book!)
5 stars By Grace, Oct 09 2012
I fell in love with Miss Match (the first book in the Lauren Hollbrook series) and this follow-up did not disappoint! Erynn Mangum has once again created a book that I know I will be able to read over and over again - filled with the same hilarious moments and sweet romances.

Lauren, (the main character) is far from perfect. She has faults and quirks, she makes mistakes and embarrasses herself. But all of her imperfections add to the book, making the characters seem more like neighbours than figments of the author's imagination. The story continues with Laurie and her matchmaking addiction, as well as her own love story (which she seems to be completely unaware of) and her crazy, but loveable, family's quirks and mishaps.

God is so evident throughout this book - but not in a preachy or overbearing way. Erynn's writing portrays the Love and Grace of God - a God who has a plan for his children and who wants a personal relationship with each of them. Suitable for any age (but I'd say more aimed towards older teenage girls and young adults) this book is simply wonderful.

And, in my eyes, a little bit perfect. :)

Fabulous!
5 stars By Rel Mollet, Oct 06 2007
Erynn Mangum has done it again! Rematch is wonderful, replete with sparkling wit, gregarious and uplifting characters and a story that will leave you with a happy heart. Lauren's stellar voice continues to shine brightly and despite her meddling, you can't help but love her. Her naivety in her own love life is delightful and I can't wait to see how Erynn resolves that. Lauren's friends and family are just as appealing each epitomising integrity yet with enough foibles to be realistic. The final scene is a treasure ~ a secret mission with code names Vizzini and Inigo was the icing on the cake! All that was left for me to do was close the book and watch Pride & Prejudice, which I did. Read Rematch and you will understand why! This is one of those unique books that can be read and enjoyed by anyone, from the teen years and beyond!
