Now these two outstanding Catholic apologists tell in their own words about the incredible spiritual journey that led them to embrace Catholicism. Scott Hahn was a Presbyterian minister, the top student in his seminary class, a brilliant Scripture scholar, and militantly anti-Catholic ... until he reluctantly began to discover that his "enemy" had all the right answers. Kimberly, also a top-notch theology student in the seminary, is the daughter of a well-known Protestant minister, and went through a tremendous "dark night of the soul" after Scott converted to Catholicism. Their conversion story and love for the Church has captured the hearts and minds of thousands of lukewarm Catholics and brought them back into an active participation in the Church. They have also influenced countless conversions to Catholicism among their friends and others who have heard their powerful testimony. Written with simplicity, charity, grace and wit, the Hahns' deep love and knowledge of Christ and of Scripture is evident and contagious throughout their story. Their love of truth and of neighbor is equally evident, and their theological focus on the great importance of the family, both biological and spiritual, will be a source of inspiration for all readers.

An Inspiring, Heart-Warming and Thought-Provoking Testimony by the Hahn's
5 stars By Dr. Bernard Low, Jul 07 2015
In this book, Scott Hahn (a former Presbyterian minister, the top student in his seminary class, a brilliant Scripture scholar, and militantly anti-Catholic) and his wife, Kimberly Hahn (also a top-notch theology student and the daughter of a well-known Protestant minister), share their stories of how they converted to Roman Catholicism. Through his study of the Scriptures and theology and his research into church history, Scott found himself developing theological convictions (especially in the areas of Bibliology, Soteriology, Eucharistic Theology and Ecclesiology) which were contrary to Protestant teachings and which, to his surprise and amazement, were found in the tradition and teachings of Roman Catholicism. This led him to read and study Catholic works and to pursue a doctorate in a Catholic university, all of which worked together to result in his eventual conversion to Roman Catholicism. His conversion brought much hurt and utter dismay to Kimberly resulting not only in tensions in their marriage but also in Kimberly having to go through a tremendous "dark night of the soul" before she herself began to see the light and eventually also converted to Roman Catholicism. Their testimonies are inspiring, heart-warming and certainly thought-provoking for the Protestant reader who loves and seeks after the truth. A compelling read! Highly recommended!
