About "The Best is Yet to Be"
This text celebrates both the challenges and the opportunities of the later years of life, with an easy-to-use 'daily readings' approach. Using a wide selection of Bible verses and quotations from a variety of authors and poets, the sixty-two meditations explore different experiences and themes common to this time of major life changes. How do we handle our memories? How can we learn to face our fears? What different values do we need to help us reach a place - or state - of peace and joy?;Each meditation is accompanied by a suggested Scripture passage, a printed Bible verse, and a reading for reflection, plus a prayer. Authors include Henri Nouwen, Paul Tournier and William Barclay.
