A firm favourite
5 stars By Benjamin, Jun 06 2013
This is the first book I've read by Os Guinness, though he's now comfortably placed in my minds list of favourite authors. In his book The Call he explains that God has a specific calling for everyone's lives. He goes through the various distortions made of callings throughout history, and emphasizes that we are to 'live for the audience of one.' This is one of those books that I'll definitely be re-reading in the future.

Highly Recommended
4 stars By Julz, Sep 04 2012
I love this book for the fact that it is not just about finding your gifts and developing them (as purpose of life is deeper than that), rather Os Guinness takes the readers into understanding other dimensions of their calling in life. For example, in the earlier chapters, he takes the readers to know the Caller more than the Calling. Furthermore, he also explains what does it look like to live our purpose, and what are the things that hinder us to find and fulfill our purpose.
