If you are going to read this, I don't hesitate in recommending the first book in the series, The Final Quest, because it does lift off directly where The Final Quest ended. The imagery in this book is not as frequent - by that I mean there are large amount of dialogue - however these dialogues in themselves holds a whole lot of punch for the revelations brought forth. However that said, when imagery is used, it has powerful effects on showing us where the church is sitting in the larger scheme of things, and honestly the title of this book does have a lot more impact upon reading it. And while we're being honest, you do not want to read this book and not read the third in the series, The Torch and the Sword, after all, they are a series and should remain rightfully so.
