I was surprised to see it is the first in a series, as the main characters have a history of sleuthing that I thought I had missed! The story is rich in characters and leaves me wishing for more details about some of them. I am not an "Agatha Christie" fan, so was glad that the only death in this book was accidental not the main feature. I appreciate there are books like this with mystery to keep you guessing, that don't focus on hatred murder.
