Over the past decade, Pastor Lee has rescued hundreds of babies who would have otherwise been abandoned on the streets of Seoul, South Korea. It is a heart-wrenching exploration of the physical, emotional and financial toll associated with providing refuge to orphans. But The Drop Box movie is also a story of hope-a reminder that every human life is sacred and worthy of love.

So powerful
5 stars By Pastor Haydn Sennitt, May 19 2016
Our world today in many ways is just like the Greco-Roman empire, where unwanted babies were exposed to the elements to just die of 'natural causes'. Today, even in affluent nations like South Korea and Australia, babies are either being aborted or left to die in the weather, still covered in blood and with their umbilical cords attached.
This DVD about Pastor Lee in Seoul developing the Baby Box to spare these children's lives is so powerful - and I cried watching it. Having lived in Seoul and having a Korean wife, I understand well the feelings of shame that can crush a woman who has had an illegitimate child and the incredible pressures they're under to spare their families 'shame'. Pastor Lee really has the father heart of God, looking after these unwanted ones so much that he himself is unwell. I wish more pastors were like him.

Had me in tears!
4 stars By Tikvah08, Dec 31 2015
I don't normally watch documentaries, but the trailer for this one had me in awe. This is a beautiful documentary that will stir you to do something, anything, to help others. Without giving away too much or making it sound bland and "done already", this couple sacrifices their whole lives to care for unwanted children, in a culture where the 'convenient' option of abortion or just telling your parents isn't tolerable. Babies are literally abandoned on the street moments after birth - but.. the Drop Box saves the day!

Heartbreaking and Heartwarming
5 stars By Raj, Aug 31 2015
When I first read about this via online blogs, I was intrigued. I was amazed to see the response to a terrible problem. When a need and a willing hand collide, there we have the 'call of God'. This doco expands on the stories that circulated on the internet, and with truth that is so heartbreaking yet a gracious response to a problem that is so heart-warming, I was enthralled and inspired to think creatively to see social problems alleviated in my suburb.

A heart gripping Doco!
4 stars By Rochelle, NSW, Jul 20 2015
Wow! What an incredible couple! Through their own experience with their son they have developed compassion, skills and the enlarging of their hearts for the abandoned children of South Korea.
Pastor Lee Jong-rak and his family are supported by many as they take in the babies of young teens and women who can't keep or don't feel they can raise their babies, many of which are downs syndrome or with other disabilities.
The Drop box that was built has caused a stir as these babies are left with no birth certificate and so no details of their parents or date of birth. Some so new that their umbilical cord is not cut properly.
Pastor Lee and his family take these precious babies and show them love, meet their medical needs, meet their basic needs and invest their life into these children.
Impacting viewing!
