He is the author of "Religious Thought and Modern Psychologies" and "Reviving Christian Humanism: The New Conversation on Spirituality, Theology, and Psychology".

Mary Stewart Van Leeuwen (Ph.D., Northwestern University) is professor of psychology and philosophy at Eastern University in St. Davids, Pennsylvania, where she is also resident scholar at the Center for Christian Women in Leadership.
