Clouse brings together proponents of each view: George Eldon Ladd on historic premillenniallism, Herman A. Hoyt on dispensational premillennialism, Loraine Boettner on post-millennialism and Anthony A. Hoekema on amillennialism. After each view is presented, proponents of the three competing views respond from their own perspectives. Customer Reviews For "The Four Views: Meaning of the Millennium (Spectrum Series)"

Write Your Own Review
Great 'single book' resource
4 stars By Jeff, Dec 14 2010
This book is clearly set out and easy to read.

The four authors present their individual views in a manner suited to those who don't want to wade through larger scholarly works. However this does not mean the scholarship of the writers is not excellent.

The writers comment fairly about alternative views and in his postscript the editor highlights the consequences of adhering to particular alternatives.

A 'must have' for the smaller Christian library.
