Meet the Authors

Iii J Ligon Duncan

Ligon Duncan, PhD, is the General Editor, and is the Senior Minister of the historic First Presbyterian Church (PCA), Jackson, Mississippi. He is now Adjunct Professor of Theology at the Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS), where he was formerly the John R. Richardson Professor of Systematic Theology. He is Convener of the Twin Lakes Fellowship, a Council Member of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, Chairman of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood, and Secretary of the Board of Belhaven College.

David W Hall

David W Hall (Ph.D., Whitefield Theological Seminary) is the Senior pastor, Midway Presby. Church in Powder Springs, Georgia, General editor for the Calvin 500 Series ; NAPARC committee to commemorate 350th anniversay of Westminster Assembly; Founder, Kuiper Institute, Oak Ridge, Tennessee He has authored Legacy of John Calvin: His Influence on the Modern World and edited Theological Guide to Calvin's Institutes: Essays and Analysis

Hugh Ross

Hugh Norman Ross (Ph.D. in astronomy, University of Toronto) is President of Reasons to Believe, he was the youngest person to serve as director of observations for Vancouver's Royal Astronomical Society. He is Christian speaker, author, and former Minister of Evangelism, Sierra Madre Congregational Church, Sierra Madre, California. He is a progressive Creationist and the author of numerous books including Creation and Time: A Biblical and Scientific Perspective on the Creation-Date Controversy (Colorado Springs, CO: NavPress, 1994), The Fingerprint of God, second edition (Promise Publishing Co, 1991),The Genesis Question, A Matter of Days, Who was Adam? and Why is the Universe the Way it is (Bakerbooks, 2008)

Gleason L Archer (Jr)

Gleason L. Archer (B.A., M.A., Ph.D., Harvard University; B.D., Princeton Theological Seminary; L.L.B., Suffolk Law School) is professor emeritus of Old Testament and Semitic languages at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, in Deerfield, Illinois. He continues to teach part time at TEDS and has served as a minister of the Evangelical Free Church of America since 1966.Archer's books include Job: God's Answer to Undeserved Sufferingand Old Testament Quotations in the New Testament. He co-wrote A Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament. His instrumental work in the preparation of the Old Testament portion of the New American Standard Bible has gained wide acclaim and positioned him as a world-renowned scholar.

Meredith G Kline

Dr. Meredith G. Kline (Ph.D. degree in Assyriology and Egyptology, Dropsie College), an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, for over half a century,served as a professor of Old Testament at Westminster Theological Seminary (in Philadelphia), Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and Westminster Seminary California.
