Pleasant
4 stars By Lisa, Feb 17 2015
I was so excited to read this book. After reading the Apothacary's Daughter Lady of Milkweed Manor, I was in search of more from Julie Klassen. I'm afraid the two novels I have mentioned drew me into their stories much deeper than this one. I enjoyed it very much, but I didn't have the same care for the characters in this one.

Lovely historical romance
5 stars By Audrey, Dec 27 2012
I love historical romances where you can see evidence of good research and this novel is one of those. It gives you a glimps of 19th century England. I enjoyed reading this book very much. Beautiful love story...
