Meet the Authors

Jon Laansma

Jon Laansma is Associate Professor of Ancient Languages at Wheaton College, Illinois. His research interests are biblical Greek and New Testament exegesis, Hebrews, the Pastoral Epistles, the Old Testament in the New Testament, New Testament history and theology, and recent discussions in linguistics and hermeneutics as they bear on these fields.

Jon is married to Lisa and they have one daughter.

Editor Douglas S. Huffman is professor and chair of the Department of Biblical and Theological Studies at Northwestern College in Minnesota. He is the coeditor of God Under Fire: Modern Scholarship Reinvents God.
