A delightful single-sitting read, packed with romance, humour and all the good things we've come to expect from Karen Witemeyer. Marietta is in love with Daniel, who is her father's ranch hand, and is bound by contract to keep his distance. Daniel has no idea of her feelings for him and shows no interest, so Marietta forms a plan to make Daniel notice her. However, Daniel is very interested, and is, in fact, in love with Marietta, but has to hide his feelings to keep his job, until he can afford top go out on his own. The resulting game of cat and mouse make for a great story. I enjoyed it. and recommend it to all lovers of historical Christian romance.
