Challenging
5 stars By Craig, Apr 25 2017
This book tells of how Nik obeyed God despite the enormous risks involved. The stories of the tough situations that he faced in Somalia are challenging to me as a Western Christian. The book then tells of stories in other countries and how believers live out their faith. I highly recommend this book.

inspiring reading
4 stars By jin pian, Dec 22 2016
This is an inspiring and challenging book. The writer takes the reader on his incredible journey in difficult territory to serve God.To man God must appear insane to send him to such a place but there Ripken learned of God's power in breaking down walls for his kingdom sake. Even the writer grew spiritually from this experience. His quest for truth is one that makes his book move compulsively on. I found it hard to put down this book. After I had finished reading it, I wanted to know more and so am looking forward to reading Ripken's next book, Insanity of Obedience.
