About "The Jesus Storybook Bible"
The Jesus Storybook Bible tells the Story beneath all the stories in the Bible. At the centre of the Story is a baby, the child upon whom everything will depend. Every story whispers his name. From Noah to Moses to the great King David - every story points to him. He is like the missing piece in a puzzle - the piece that makes all the other pieces fit together. From the Old Testament through the New Testament, as the Story unfolds, children will pick up the clues and piece together the puzzle. A Bible like no other, The Jesus Storybook Bible invites children to join in the greatest of all adventures, to discover for themselves that Jesus is at the centre of God's great story of salvation - and at the centre of their Story too.

This beautiful Bible is perfect for children's ministry as well as in your own home.
This bible is fantastic. It's my go to baby gift. Every child needs the opportunity to know Jesus and this is my favourite kids bible. Be sure to look into the options available - soft cover, hard cover, special edition, audio combination pack and even Sunday School curriculum are all available too.
I really like how 'the Jesus Storybook Bible interprets and retells the bible stories in a way children can understand without compromising on big theological concepts. In fact, as an adult, I sometimes enjoy the simpler, stripped back explanation of God's great story. Each chapter also references where to find the story in the bible which creates a great opportunity to connect children to the bible. I am not a huge fan of the illustrations but my child likes them so I think that just comes down to personal taste (and seeing as it's aimed at children, his opinion would matter more).
I love this book! Beautiful pictures and beautifully points everything to Jesus. I read this to my kids and have even found it helpfully personally as I read it to them. Really helpful at making sense of the Old Testament and piecing the whole story together. A helpful children's bible that is simple but profound at teaching the need for Jesus rather than religious behaviour.
We started reading this Bible each day to our daughter at age two. At age five, she still adores it and we still read it daily, even though we have read each chapter many, many times over. It is terrific for young children, but it is not a "dumbed down" story. The adults in our family who have read it to her (myself, my husband, and all my daughter's grandparents) have found the text to be beautifully written, in an engaging storytelling style, rich with meaning, moving, and with every chapter pointing clearly to Jesus our saviour. I've many times read with tears in my eyes as the text has drawn out new connections I hadn't considered before. The beautiful illustrations are an added bonus. I thoroughly recommend it.
