- Publisher In "The Justified Walk" Elder Phillips makes clear how the plan of salvation works in our daily lives. Faith, Grace, Sin, Justification, Sanctification and Righteousness are made real and tangible.

- Publisher We still are plagued with the same kind of a theology that Nicodemus was plagued with: that some way or another we can, by effort, resist; by determination, we can do; with a little help from God along the way, we can actually improve that which possesses us now. But God says that's not true.Sometimes we are tempted to reason that when the very root of sin is burned out, and sin is completely destroyed - the devil is destroyed - well then it ought to be easy to live in fulfillment of Christ's promise, "Affliction shall not arise a second time."But might I remind you that it was in this kind of a condition that angelic perfection failed. "Angelic perfection failed in heaven. Human perfection failed in Eden, the paradise of bliss. All who wish for security in earth or heaven must look to the Lamb of God.... Our only hope is perfect trust in the blood of Him who can save to the uttermost all that come unto God by Him." - Ellen White, S.D.A. Bible Commentary, Vol. 5, p. 1132.
