Meet the Authors

Pat Alexander

David Alexander (BA, Oxford University) and Pat Alexander (BA, Bristol University) are the founders of Lion Publishing, where for 23 years David was director and chair and Pat was editorial director for adult, children's, and educational lists. Together they produced the original Lion Handbook to the Bible.

Carolyn Cox (Illus)

Lois Rock has authored over 30 books for children, including The Lord's Prayer for Children, The Ten Commandments for Children, and Festivals for the Christian Year. Her retellings of the Lord's Prayer for children of different ages have sold more than a quarter of a million copies. Her writing has been translated into over 15 languages. ýCarolyn Cox illustrated the international best seller The Lion's Children's Bible. Her work has been published in many other children's books and magazines. She studied graphic design at the University of Ulster, Belfast.ý
