He worked with the Turkish Bible Society in Istanbul and is currently working for SIL International checking Bible translations. Paul's latest book The Books of Moses Revisited was published in 2011. Richard Johnson is the former Head of Biblical Studies at Redcliffe College.

Meet the Authors

Paul Lawrence

Paul Lawrence (Ph.D., University of Liverpool) is research assistant to Emeritus Professor K.A. Kitchen in the Dept of Archaeology, University of Liverpool. He was translation coordinator for the Turkish Old Testament Bible translation project (1988-2001). He has written numerous articles and regularly teaches courses on Biblical archaeology, and has authored the The Atlas of Bible History.

Richard I Johnson

Richard I. Johnson was formerly Head of Biblical Studies at Redcliffe College, Gloucester, and is an honorary fellow of the college. He currently works as a secondhand theology bookseller and as a freelance writer.
