Michael D. Coogan is Lecturer on Old Testament/Hebrew Bible at Harvard Divinity School and Director of Publications for the Harvard Semitic Museum. Among other works, he is editor of"The New Oxford Annotated Bible" and Oxford Biblical Studies Online. C

Marc Brettler (Ed)

Marc Brettler is Dora Golding Professor of Biblical Literature and chair of the Department of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies at Brandeis University. His main areas of research are religious metaphors and the Bible, biblical historical texts, and women and the Bible. He is the author of severalýbooks and co-editor of The Jewish Study Bible.ý

Carol Newsom (Ed)

Carol A. Newsom is Professor of Old Testament at Emory University's Candler School of Theology. She has written and edited several books, and is co-editor of The Oxford Annotated Bible.ý

Pheme Perkins

Pheme Perkins (Ph.D., Harvard University) is professor of New Testament in the Theology Department at Boston College. Among her many published books are Reading the New Testament; Gnosticism and the New Testament; Galatians; Ephesians (Abingdon New Testament Commentary) and the Politics of Faith and Peter: Apostle for the Whole Church and most recently Introduction to the Synoptic Gospels.
