Helen Keller

Helen Keller is Professor of Public Law, International Law and European Law, at the University of Zurich. Alec Stone Sweet is Leitner Professor of Law, Politics, and International Studies, at Yale Law School<BR> C

Billy Graham

Hailed as the world's preacher, the late Billy Graham had a career spanning over half a century. He preached the Gospel to more people in a live-audience format than anyone else in history - more than 210 million people, in more than 185 countries and territories through various meetings, including Mission World and Global Mission.

Born William Franklin Graham, Jr. in Charlotte, North Carolina, 17 November 1918, he entered the ministry in 1943 and soon began conducting evangelistic crusades. In 1950, he founded The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which has sponsored crusades and produced radio and television programs as well as films.

Dr. Graham wrote many books, a number of which became bestsellers. His autobiography, Just As I Am, published in 1997, achieved a "triple crown", appearing simultaneously on the three top best-seller lists in one week.

Dr. Graham passed away 21 February 2018.

Dale Evans Rogers

Dale Evans Rogers was a singer, actress, writer, speaker, and America's best-loved cowgirl. She was married to the late Roy Rogers.

Catherine Marshall

Catherine Marshall began her writing career as a single mother, after the untimely death of her husband in 1949. She went on to write more than 20 books. Catherine's greatest success was her 1967 novel, Christy, inspired by the story of her mother, which spawned a television series, a youth book series, and a made-for-television movie. Catherine Marshall passed away in March 1983. Her second novel, Julie, was posthumously published in 1984. She left her journals with her husband, who edited selections that were published in 1986 as A Closer Walk: Spiritual Discoveries from Her Journals. - Publisher.

Norman Vincent Peale

Clergyman and author Norman Vincent Peale was born in Bowersville, Ohio, on May 31, 1898. He was ordained into the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1922 and served as a pastor in a variety of churches in the eastern United States for the next decade. In 1932, he joined the Dutch Reformed Church and became the pastor of the Marble Collegiate Church, a post he would hold for more than fifty years. Peale's book, The Power of Positive Thinking, has sold more than fifteen million copies and been translated into forty languages. It helped create a viable market for self-help books. In addition to writing, he gave sermons on both television and radio and published Guideposts, a very successful weekly newsletter. He died on Christmas Eve, 1993.

Peter Marshall

Peter Marshall has gained national recognition as a preacher and teacher on Christian maturity. A graduate of Yale University and Princeton Theological Seminary, he formerly served as pastor of the East Dennis Community Church on Cape Cod. Marshall lives in Orleans, Massachusetts. He is the co-author of The Light and the Glory:1492-1787 with David Manuel.
